Come see the magnificent wildebeest migration in Tanzania at discount prices. The months from July through to September see the herds heading north from the western Serengeti into Kenya and the Masai Mara Game Reserve. By July the wildebeest reach their first great obstacle, the Grumeti River. This is the first of the remarkable river crossings to witness and come late July, when the herd head to Kenya's Lamai Wedge and Mara Triangle, they are again faced with Mara River. The depth of both river crossings makes drowning a high possibility for the wildebeest, and both are filled with hungry crocodiles on standby, ready to take advantage of their distress. The dangerous crossing of the crocodile infested Mara and Grumeti Rivers is a breath-taking spectacle, not to be missed. You will also visit the best of Tanzania's National Parks: Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro crater, and the famous Serengeti National Park.
